Hanoi: Vietnam Cycle returns at sixth edition

The Vietnam International Bicycle Exhibition (Vietnam Cycle 2017), the only event on bicycles, e-bikes and accessories in Vietnam, has returned to Hanoi at its sixth edition.
The Vietnam Cycle 2017, held by Vinexad and the Vietnam Auto Motorcycle and Bicycle Association, was opened at the Hanoi International Exhibition Centre (91 Tran Hung Dao street) on November 16.

According to Vinaxad Deputy Director General Trinh Xuan Tuan, the exhibition, a highlight of the country’s bicycle industry, will give a push to the increasing trend of riding bicycles - green energy in big cities today.

This year’s event features 150 booths run by 50 domestic and foreign manufacturers, including the UK, France, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Chinese Taipei and China. They bring to the fair bicycles and e-bikes with diverse designs that fit any age.

On display are products from many leading brands in the world, including Giant, Gitane, Dahon, Bianchi, Peugeot, Definitive, Puch, Look, Merida and Galaxy.

On the sidelines of the four-day fair, there will be a seminar on bicycles and electric bicycles hosted by the National Traffic Safety Committee, during which the committee will answer inquiries of enterprises on urban planning for transportation and procedures for import and registration for vehicles.

A bicycle fashion show, a creative photo corner with bikes, and a playground to experience new vehicles will be also included.

Last year, the Vietnam Cycle welcomed more than 10,000 visitors and saw about 400 bicycles and e-bikes purchased and 47 deals sealed.
