Đồng Nai: 7/9 khu xử lý chất thải đi vào hoạt động

Còn 2 khu xử lý chất thải đang triển khai các thủ tục về đầu tư là khu xử lý chất thải ở xã Vĩnh Tân, huyện Vĩnh Cửu và khu xử lý chất thải Bàu Cạn ở xã Bàu Cạn, huyện Long Thành.

Dự kiến, vào đầu năm 2014, Sở Tài nguyên và Môi trường sẽ đưa cả 2 khu xử lý này đi vào hoạt động. Qua đó, cơ bản sẽ tiếp nhận được lượng chất thải cần xử lý trên địa bàn, góp phần tăng tỷ lệ xử lý chất thải hợp vệ sinh.

Ngoài ra, tỉnh Đồng Nai đang tiến hành đóng cửa 29 bãi rác tạm bằng phương pháp phân loại, đóng gói và chôn lấp để bảo vệ môi trường.
