Giá hạt tiêu tăng, lãi khá cho người trồng

Liên tiếp trong 3 năm qua, giá hạt tiêu luôn ở mức cao trên 100.000 đồng/kg. Riêng năm 2014 giá tăng vọt lên 150.000 đồng/kg. Với mức giá này người trồng tiêu có lãi đến 400-500 triệu đồng/ha.

Nhiều vườn tiêu ở Đồng Nai nhờ áp dụng phương pháp tưới nước tiết kiệm vào mùa khô nên cây phát triển tốt, sản lượng ổn định, từ đó giá thành đầu vào thấp hơn nên thu lãi cao hơn. Đồng Nai hiện có khoảng 7.300ha cây tiêu đang trong thời kỳ thu hoạch, với tổng sản lượng ước đạt trên 15.000 tấn/năm.

Theo Bộ NNPTNT, khối lượng tiêu xuất khẩu của Việt Nam tính đến hết tháng 5 đạt khoảng 92.000 tấn với giá trị 645 triệu USD, tăng 33,6% về khối lượng và 42,3% về giá trị.

Những tháng đầu năm, giá tiêu xuất khẩu tăng khoảng 4,2 % so với cùng kỳ, bình quân đạt 6.879 USD/tấn.
