SIAL InterFood 2016 attracted more than 1,000 pavilions of 30 countries and territories around the world including Vietnam. This annual event is a leading expo of its kind in Southeast Asia with a view to introducing food and beverage products, food additives, raw materials, processing technology, and relevant services.

Various activities will be held on the sidelines of the expo, including workshops, conferences, promotion activities, and fairs specialising in tea and coffee, wine, sweets, food for health, and seafood.

SIAL InterFood 2016 is expected to offer a great opportunity for enterprises to seek partners and expand markets.

Vietnamese businesses like Hapro, Trung Nguyen and An Thai Group are displaying their flagship products such as pepper, cinnamon, anise, rice, coffee and tea.

According to Nguyen Thi Thu, an executive of the Alpha International Food Joint Stock Company, the company comes to the event to promote pie products as it perceives that Indonesia is a potential market.

More than 40,000 visitors are expected to call at the expo, which is scheduled to last through November 12.
