The annual event, organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and the Da Nang Trade Promotion Centre, features 300 booths of 200 domestic and foreign businesses from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Italy.

These companies showed electric & electronic products, information and communication technology, wood products, furniture, handicrafts, garments, textiles, footwear, fashion, and tourism and culinary services. The trade fair will last until August 2.

Director of the centre Hua Tu Anh said the exhibition opens up opportunities for domestic and international enterprises to seek partnerships, boost operations and introduce their products to consumers.

A number of activities will be organized during the event, including an art performance, a game show and a workshop to introduce the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement.

The event also helps the nations along the corridor to promote their economic, trade, investment and tourism potential as well as foster collaboration, he added.
