Tạo đà cho năm mới, thị trường ô tô trong nước vừa kết thúc năm 2013 bằng những con số kinh doanh tốt nhất trong năm với các thành viên Hiệp hội sản xuất ô tô Việt Nam (VAMA) khi có hơn 11.000 xe bán ra.

Cụ thể, các thành viên của VAMA đã bán ra tổng số 11.631 xe và nếu tính cả một số thương hiệu nhập khẩu nguyên chiếc không phải là thành viên VAMA như Audi, BMW, Porsche… thì thị trường Việt Nam đón nhận thêm 13.205 xe, trong đó có 5,392 xe con (tăng 35% so với tháng trước) và 7,813 xe tải (tăng 27%). Sản lượng của xe lắp ráp trong nước đạt 10.317 xe, tăng 24% so với tháng trước; số lượng xe nhập khẩu nguyên chiếc là 2.888xe, tăng 57% so với tháng trước.

Bắt đầu từ  tháng 1/2014 này, theo nhận định của VAMA , chắc chắn thị trường ô tô Việt Nam sẽ có biến động theo hướng tích cực hơn khi thuế nhập khẩu các chủng loại ô tô có nguồn gốc từ ASEAN sẽ chỉ ở mức thuế nhập khẩu là 50% (có kèm điều kiện nội địa hóa) và một trong hai thị trường ô tô lớn nhất cả nước là TPHCM chính thức có phí trước trước bạ giảm xuống 10% (trước đây là 15%).
