Trong đó, tiêu thụ trong nước tháng 9 ước đạt 3,99 triệu tấn, sụt giảm 7,8% so với tháng 8, tuy nhiên vẫn đạt 107% so với cùng kỳ năm 2013.
Trong lĩnh vực xuất khẩu lại có sự đảo chiều khi sản lượng xuất khẩu xi măng trong tháng 9 ước đạt 0,85 triệu tấn, tăng 13% so với tháng 8. Nhưng so sánh với tháng 9 năm ngoái, lượng xi măng xuất khẩu chỉ bằng 65%.
Tính chung, lượng tiêu thụ 9 tháng đầu năm ước đạt 47,16 triệu tấn, bằng 106% so với cùng kỳ năm trước. Tiêu thụ nội địa 9 tháng đạt khoảng 36,98 triệu tấn, bằng 108% so cùng kỳ năm trước.
Xuất khẩu sản phẩm xi măng trong 9 tháng đầu năm ước đạt 10,18 triệu tấn và vẫn duy trì được lượng xuất khẩu sản phẩm tương đương so với cùng kỳ năm 2013.
Theo Vụ Vật liệu xây dựng, giá bán xi măng cuối nguồn tháng 9 không biến động. Trong tháng 9, sản lượng xi măng tiêu thụ nội địa giảm chủ yếu do ảnh hưởng bởi mưa, bão.
