VINAMAC EXPO 2016 opens in Ho Chi Minh City

This year’s event attracted the participation of 250 groups and companies from Austria, the Republic of Czech, Germany, the Republic of Korea, the US, Italy, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore, China and Vietnam with 450 pavilions.The event will last until December 10.

VINAMAC EXPO 2016included five thematic exhibitions on metallurgy, iron and steel; welding and machining technology; metals and components; chemicals, paints and coatings; textile printing and inkjet advertising.

Mr.Nguyen Quang Huy, Deputy head of the South Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said the VINAMAC EXPO 2016 offers a good chance for businesses in industry and support industry to popularise their brand names as well as seek partners and expand domestic and international markets. The event is also expected to enables enterprises at home and abroad to transfer technology and promote trade and investment activities, he added. Moreover, a number of workshops on prospects of steel, textile printing industry, and flora protection in 2017will be held as part of the event.
