Xuất khẩu tôm sang thị trường châu Âu đạt mức tăng trưởng khá.
Dưới áp lực khủng hoảng kinh tế, nhu cầu nhập khẩu (NK) tôm của EU
giảm mạnh khiến XK tôm Việt Nam sang khu vực này liên tục sụt giảm trong suốt năm 2012 và 4 tháng
đầu năm 2013.
Bắt đầu từ tháng 5/2013, XK tôm Việt Nam sang EU tăng trưởng
trở lại với mức tăng bình quân 12,5%/tháng, giúp XK tôm Việt Nam sang thị trường này dần hồi
phục.
Theo số liệu của Hải quan Việt Nam, XK tôm Việt Nam sang EU trong 7 tháng đầu năm 2013 đạt trên
176,3 triệu USD, tăng 2,1% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái.
Ngay từ đầu năm 2013, hai thị trường hàng đầu về NK tôm Việt Nam trong khối EU là Anh và Pháp đều
có sự tăng trưởng khá ấn tượng. Trong đó, XK tôm sang Anh liên tục tăng trưởng mạnh, có tháng tăng
tới 46% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái và XK tôm sang Pháp cũng có tháng tăng 83,2%.
Đối với thị trường Pháp, XK tôm đạt trên 29,6 triệu USD trong
7 tháng đầu năm 2013, tăng gần 40% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái, trong đó tôm sú chiếm tỷ trọng 41%
tổng giá trị XK.
Đối với thị trường Đức, mặc dù XK tôm sang thị trường này sụt giảm liên tục nhưng Đức vẫn giữ vị
trí hàng đầu khối EU về NK tôm Việt Nam. Đến tháng 7/2013, XK tôm sang Đức mới có dấu hiệu phục hồi
khi tăng 2% so với tháng 7 năm ngoái.
