Exporting phones to US hit 29.8 billion USD in the first 10 months

The General Department of Vietnam Customs has reported that Vietnam earned about 29.8 billion USD from exporting phones and devices to the US from January to November, 2016.

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs,this figure indicated a year-on-year increase of 3 billion USD, or 10.7 percent.

In the first 10 months of 2016, phones and devices continue to lead Vietnam’s export value, bringing in 19.7 percent of the total export turnover

Notably, the US has surpassed the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which has been Vietnam’s largest phone importer in the previous years, with an export value of 3.47 billion USD.The Republic Korea and Austria came to next with export turnovers of 3.38 billion USD, 2.29 billion USD and 1.72 billion USD, respectively.
