In
recent years, the coal mining industry has been developing significantly, which
has satisfied the increase of consumption demand in both domestic and exporting
market. In contrast, this activity triggers the bad effects on the environment
and society namely: dust, noise, the water pollution, declining ecosystems, the
drawbacks to employees’ health and communities around the exploiting areas. To
minimize the above bad effects, it is more advisable to evaluate the efficiency
of the environmental management in coal exploitation, from which we can suggest
some promoting solutions to those problems. The purpose of this article is to
make clear the issues of in the environmental management of in coal
exploitation. Indeed, the authors give several solutions to enhance the quality
of environmental management in Coal exploitation at companies of Vietnam National Coal-mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited.
