The Ministry of Industry and Trade(MoIT) is accredited to raise total export value of the country by 6 to 7 percent while keeping trade deficit at about 3.5 percent of the total trade revenue. The MoIT is in charge of reducing energy consumption per GDP unit by 1.5 percent compared to that of 2016.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to increase the forest coverage to 41.45 percent in 2017. Meanwhile, he asked the Ministry of Health (MOH) to ensure 25.5 beds in hospitals are ready for every 10,000 people, and raise the health insurance coverage to 82.2 percent of the population.
At the same time, Prime Minister Nguyen XuanPhuc assigned the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) to down the unemployment rate in urban areas under 4 percent, raise the percentage of trained laborers to 55-57 percent, and reduce the poverty ratio according to the multidimensional poverty standards by 1-1.5 percent and 4 percent in poor district.
