Looking back operation on multi-disciplinary management of Ministry of Industry and Trade after four years of establishment

 On the basis, MOIT has directed to focuss on performing assigned tasks better and better. This helped overcome the situation sometimes the direction is not really in sync, even opposing views between two ministries in the past, between production and sales, between import and export with domestic production protection. Thanks to direct focus from manufacture to trade, import and export, but in recent years, despite world economic crisis and financial crisis, implemented measures by the Government, MOIT has good coordination with ministries, branches and localities in directing to ensure balance between supply and demand, especially for essential commodities, market stability, meet the requirements for production and people's lives.

Industrial production value increased on average of 11.83 percent per year in the period of 2008 - 2010. Export, except in 2009, due to the crisis should not met the target by the National Assembly and the Government set out, the years of 2007, 2008, 2010 exceeded the target; Completing the construction of legal documents; Implementing many popular programs, testing, reviewing and systematizing, monitoring law enforcement to achieve good results; Concentrading on directing the implementation of guidelines and policies by Party and State; Building up plan implementation in all fields: Electricity, petroleum, minerals, chemicals, export, trade infrastructure, development planning and production distribution system for fertilizer, steel, petroleum by 2020; Building up strategic adjustment of industrial structure by 2020, the strategic adjustment of trade structure towards industrialization and modernization etc…Building up strategies and planning for development of sectors with their quality and feasible than before, as more closely linked with the two fields of industry and trade, production and distribution, developing the domestic market with exports.
