E-commerce training and application at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry

In 2010, the Faculty of Information Technology has focused on research, evaluation and updating training programs. In addition, the Faculty also developed three new specialized subjects, of which specialized e-commerce has first concerned by University leaders and the Faculty’s dean. With the objective of training graduates to meet the needs of society and fully equipped with the skills and modern approach to the students, the team building training programs who has studied, to capture e-commerce development trend in the world as well as Vietnam, making the overall developed planning on e-commerce of the Government, and its application situation now and in the period of 10-15 years in order to determine output standards for the students.

The Faculty of Information Technology’s email system has been developing for the entire students with its domain, just as a tool for exchanging informations during the learning periods at University, just a means of keeping in touch with former students and businesses to assess the quality of training and updating training programs, at the same time, how to authenticate student login using the resources of the University. E-learning system was successfully deployed by Faculty of Information Technology and is being planned for University expandly.
