Xuất khẩu tôm vào EU tăng mạnh

Cụ thể, xuất khẩu tôm sang EU tăng 40,5% so với quý III/2012, đạt 125,7 triệu USD. Trước đó, xuất khẩu vào thị trường này bị giảm liên tiếp trong quý I/2013 (giảm 5,2%) và quý II/2013 (giảm 1,5%).

Sau quý II/2013, kinh tế khu vực Eurozone được cho là đã thoát khỏi tình trạng suy thoái nghiêm trọng. Nhu cầu tiêu thụ được cải thiện cộng với giá tôm trên thị trường này cũng tăng lên do chịu ảnh hưởng chung của nguồn cung tôm toàn cầu giảm. Điều này đã tạo cơ hội cho tôm Việt Nam.

Theo VASEP, xuất khẩu tôm sang cả 3 thị trường đơn lẻ dẫn đầu về tiêu thụ tôm Việt Nam trong khu vực này là Đức, Anh và Pháp đều tăng trưởng cao trong quý III. Trong đó, xuất khẩu tôm sang Đức tăng 24,8%, sang Anh tăng 65% và sang Pháp tăng 71,8%.
